Paris Air Show 2015
Making first appearances in Paris show will be Pakistan’s JF-17 Thunder fighter and the Antonov AN-178, the latest version of the transport plane from Ukraine. Russian companies will be there, but no Russian pilots will fly in the daily flight show. Textron AirLand’s Scorpion ISR-light strike jet also will be on display.
Airbus
To highlight Airbus’ leading widebody product range and superior cabin comfort in all classes, more A350 XWBs and A380s will be on display than at any other airshow, with four of the highly efficient passenger aircraft in total. An A350 XWB of launch customer Qatar Airways will be on the static display along with a Qatar A380. Throughout the week, two Airbus test aircraft, an A350 XWB equipped with cabin and an A380, will take part in the flying display.
The A400M new generation airlifter and mock-ups of the Tanan and Harfang unmanned aerial vehicles will be shown on the static display.
The product renewal strategy of Airbus Helicopters will be shown, including mock-ups of the highly innovative H160 and newly certified H145M on the static display while an H175 model will be present in the Group Pavilion. The ever popular H135, certified in October 2014, and the combat-proven H225M, which was recently preselected by Poland for the test phase of the multi-role helicopter tender, will also be displayed. Other combat proven aircraft such as the NH90 TTH Caiman from the French Army Aviation service will be displayed at the NHIndustries booth and will perform flight demonstrations every day. The Tiger and a NH90 NFH will be present on the French General Directorate for Armament’s (DGA) booth.
Boeing
Boeing confirmed that a 787-9 Dreamliner, to be delivered to Vietnam Airlines, will participate in the flying display at the Paris Air Show 2015.
Boeing and China Airlines will display a 777-300ER (Extended Range), showcasing the airline’s stylish, innovative interior.
Additionally, Boeing customers and partners will bring several aircraft to Le Bourget, the show’s long-time venue outside Paris. Qatar Airways plans to present a 787-8 Dreamliner on static display. The U.S. Department of Defense is scheduled to display the P-8A anti-submarine and anti-surface warfare aircraft, the CH-47F Chinook helicopter, and the F-15E Strike Eagle fighter.
Bombardier
Bombardier confirms both CSeries variants will be featured in the static display at the 51st Paris air show next June, while one of the aircraft – the first CS300 test vehicle – will participate in the flying display. The CS100 test aircraft will be with a completed interior – FTV-5.
Bombardier also will display the CRJ1000 regional jet and the Q400 turboprop at the Paris static display.
US Military
US military aircraft will be absent from the flying display at this year Paris air show. Show organisers also do not expect an appearance by the Lockheed Martin F-35.
